Pros
Wednesday Breakfast, The team there have a great dynamic, well what's left of the team.
Cons
Working environment completely ruined by one man with a fragile ego who bullies and belittles staff whilst treating them as disposable. On average staff only last a few days due to his toxic behaviour. Has been overheard giving bad references to former staff members over the phone and shouting at staff in the office. There is no sick pay and made up rules around when you can use your annual leave entitlement. Staff suffer at the hands of the CTO's overpromising to clients of unrealistic deadlines and poor planning with pressure put on staff to make up the shortfall having to work weekends and evenings. Working overtime is only paid normal hourly rates, That's when it is paid as the CTO putting the blame on staff for "not being able to get the job done within working hours" in an effort to not pay staff overtime Employees are given no consideration when told to travel to client sites, the cheapest travel options are booked for staff with flights/trains being booked on weekends during early hours and then staff have to linger around a subpar hotels, the company only offers to pay for dinner whilst staff are away and a strict budget is imposed even on that. The CTO then obliviously flaunts his high end hotel stays and business class flights to his staff when travelling to client sites often having bragged about his business class lounge access whilst letting his employees pay for their own airport food and drinks. Work/Life balance is almost not existent with staff expected to work evenings and weekend, When staff are not working or travelling they are expected to do hours of training in what little free personal time they have left to such an extent that candidates with families/children are often rejected during the hiring process due to not being able to commit their entire life to the job.
