Pros

The job itself is simple. Yes, there is pressure to reach sales goals with credit cards and Geek Squad memberships, but it isn't make-or-break. You don't necessarily need to have an incredible amount of technical knowledge. Depending on your manager, it may be lax. Overall, a pretty chill environment with some cool coworkers. Also some opportunity for upward movement into the Geek Squad or management, which is nice.

Cons

There is a massive emphasis on getting credit cards and Geek Squad memberships. That's basically all upper management talks about. There can be a childish mentality among employees and upper management. One in particular at this location will go out of her way to make her power "known". Definitely takes her job way too seriously. It can get old quickly, especially when the pay is low and the hours are long. They will try to overschedule you.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
