I have been working at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Amazing people
    - Awesome culture, very open and accepting. New ideas are always welcome.
    - Company is doing well and is growing
    - Coworkers are motivated, outspoken, energetic and fun. They are super driven and competitive in a good way.
    - Competitive bonus structure
    - Good work/life balance
    - Gym onsite
    - Good benefits

    Cons

    - limited career growth. No development plans, been here for two years and have not seen a single promotion. Ladderal moves across departments are common, but there is almost no upward movement.
    - Some Merchants are underpaid.

    Advice to Management

You have a lot of good talent working for you, create career development plans and show them the path. Most people leave your company not because they do not like your working environment but because 1) they found a better paid company or 2) they want more opportunities for growth.
Not having a solid career path also breeds complacency.
