Pros
Company has good values and purposes. It provides work life balance and could be rewarding. Pretty good pay and benefits. People are nice for the most part.
Cons
The company is slow to adapt new things. It is very conservative and rightfully so, but for people with desire to stay at the tech edge the place may feel stagnant. There are many incompetent IT managers who have nothing to do with technology and seem more like clerks than technology leaders. As a result business has little trust in internal IT staff and prefers to outsource projects to consulting firms.
