Pros

Work life balance - Base2 strongly supports their employee's needs to have a life outside of the work place. There are times when more hours are required to meet deliverables, but it doesn't happen all the time. Culture - Base2 is very committed to having a culture where people want to work. From the little perks of an office espresso machine and free snacks and sodas, to encouraging social gatherings both in or out of the office. This keeps everyone more connected and people really care about one another. Accessible management - Base2 doesn't put a big emphasis on titles and upper management is very approachable. I wouldn't hesitate to ask for help from any of the leaders. Time-off benefits - Base2 recently increased paid vacation time to three weeks per year.

Cons

Base2 is getting bigger and with that comes growing pains such as increasing the infrastructure to accommodate all the new employees, (i.e. expanding office space - which is in the works, review operational processes and adjust as necessary to adapt to the company growth.

Pros

Once in a while you end up in a place that is so wonderful, you have to wonder what you did in a former life to deserve something so great. This is how I feel about working at Base2. I must have been a saint or something at some time(I'm certainly not now) The Company's priorities are delivering a great product and providing a healthy and happy work environment. This place is not a churn and burn of bodies. There is a great group of people and certainly, there are situations where you have to put in the extra hours, but as a general rule, work/life balance is the philosophy. I am a seasoned professional and have worked in a myriad of industries and companies and this will be my final position. Posted in the hall is a poster that states “People before profits” and the company lives by that philosophy. Everyone benefits from the prosperity of the business.

Cons

Well the con for me, is not really a con - the company is a wholly owned foreign subsidiary so the reporting is a bit tricky... but not really a con, as they cash
