Pros
Stable income, benefits, reliable employment overall, dominates the healthcare market, maintains very busy practices = lots of experience. Probably a good option for new physicians fresh out of residency.
Cons
Unpredictable, big changes to one's practice made without physician control, frequent changes in management, little interest in physician well-being, increasingly hostile environment for physicians in general, became quite a toxic place to work. Has soured my outlook on employed positions in general.
