Pros

Global Conference Digital Offsite Parties Gifts Awards Salary is on time( less than industry standards)

Cons

As a BCA/Bsc grad you will get good start but then after an year there is no growth. The Project managers here don't have technical knowledge so this can hamper your career growth. You cannot find a mentor here. Projects are of similar type and are very short. They are delivered in a weeks or days time. Be ready to have late working hours and zero work-life balance. Production team is more about functional growth and not technical. Project Managers keep changing every day here making it difficult for a developer- designer to have mental peace. Also just the headquarters are Sweden. All the team here in Mumbai is managed by Indian people making it just like any other Indian based IT firm. In short, if you are a fresher and not looking for technical job can join BTS- Production team and can spend few years. But dont forget to gain some knowledge externally if you want to have a stable future. Since there are people who are from inception of the Mumbai office, all the decisions are taken by them and the new bee will have no right to justify their view.

Cons

In the 2 times I have worked for BTS I have been misled on the environment/situation I would be working in. Which has led to serious issues. The first time, I was recruited I moved my family across the country for a position that had 16 turnovers over a 2 year period due to the toxic government leadership. I was not given any heads up and was put in a seriously challenging position for both my career and financial wellbeing. The second time I took a job with BTS, I was told the contract had just been awarded for 5 years. However, once I arrived, again having moved my family across the country, I found out the contract was on a 6 month extension. There are other issues on the administrative side, and all I will recommend is to document everything. You WILL need the proof sometime down the road. All in all, I would say at times BTS was good, but mostly they operate in the morally gray to keep that top line up. Was fired over voicemail, for not working overtime (just working a standard 40 hour work week at night!) while I was recovering from the flu. No notice, no conversation, just canned. If management had taken a moment to speak with me, I could have provided email proof I had approval to take a slight step back while I and my family all recovered from the flu.
