Pros
New senior leadership from Cisco, Motorola, IBM, etc. has been aggressively driving change and starting to get a bit of traction. If you can make it through the internal transition and pending Nortel Acquisition there may be many growth opportunities on the other side. New leadership is smart, aggressive, and capable of making things happen quickly
Cons
Very tense work environment. New leadership, strategic changes, and Nortel acquisition have introduced a lot of uncertainty that seems to put people on edge. Benefits are not very exciting and this year saw a no-bonus policy and 2 weeks of furlough - although that will hopefully not continue next year
