Every line manager will have different styles of managing, though trust is generally placed in each employee to get the job done without too much interference.
I think more frequent conversations between you and your line manager in AFDS may reduce micromanagement, as she/he will be more apprised of your work progress. I would love to hear your feedback again after additional time with ARM, so please leave another review (you can leave one once a year) after more time with us!
