Confusion about Software Requirements versus Hardware Architecture and Design - Senior Designer Arm Employee Review

Too many people assume they know much more than they do. In computer chip design (CPU/GPU/etc) the challenges are in "the details". Architects are more marketing agents and are out of touch with hardware fundamentals and meaningful modeling. Architectural requirements are never properly justified and lead to grave misery for designers who must pick up the pieces and deliver a working product.
