Pros

A supportive, values-driven company with a strong team culture. There’s clear encouragement around development and progression, and plenty of opportunity to learn from people around you. The business is transparent, even when things are tough, and I’ve been very well supported during personal and family challenges. While the pace can be demanding, it’s a genuinely good place to work.

Cons

The pace can be fast and priorities can shift quickly, which may not suit everyone.

Pros

Flexible and remote working has always been a strong point, with a good level of trust given to employees. There used to be dedicated development time which was genuinely valuable for growth and learning, although this no longer seems to exist in practice. People at all levels are generally approachable and supportive on a one-to-one basis.

Cons

The past few months have been particularly difficult. There were redundancies affecting around 20 people, and the communication throughout that process felt poor. It often felt unclear what was happening and why, and those impacted didn’t seem to have meaningful alternatives or opportunities to move into other roles. There is a consistent message from leadership about focusing on less and doing things better, but in reality the company continues to take on significantly more than it has the capacity to deliver. This creates ongoing pressure across teams, particularly in client support where demand can be unpredictable and high. While senior leaders are reassuring in conversations, there is a disconnect between what is said and what actually changes in day-to-day work. Over time this can feel frustrating, as the same challenges persist despite repeated acknowledgement.

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Feedback helps us see where we can improve and is welcomed whether its as an existing part of our team via fortnightly sessions, engagement surveys or sharing your experience after working at Amiqus. I'm glad the things that worked for you came through: the flexibility, remote setup, the trust in our people, and the support via cross functional teams. A few points you raised feel worthwhile picking up. On development time, the support and budget allocations are still very much in place. We're reviewing how this benefit of time and budget works in practise so it's both valuable and consistent for everyone as we continue to scale. Reorganising our teams and roles inline with our growth plans was something that took time and was managed with a focus on those people who were directly impacted as a priority. Whilst many people worked hard to make sure the process was clear, direct and moved quickly to a conclusion, your feedback tells us it didn't feel clear or open enough to everyone, and that's a fair point. We know that workload, priorities and capacity matter, and they're in constant flux when you're in a scaleup with big ambition and high expectations. We talk about openly in our regular company updates, share progress and with that, share in the success across all of our people via share options and bonus schemes. As you'd expect we're putting in the work behind the scenes too:  whether it's adoption and roll out of automation tooling, ai enabled processes or additional hiring - well resourced and experienced cross functional working are critical to our success.  We also know this only counts if people feel the difference day to day. Our recent team engagement survey feedback (post reorg) helped flag top opportunities and confirm what our people care most about and we're working on. That doesn't lessen what you've described, and we don't see it as a sign the work is done. Thanks again for taking the time to share. Tasha People team

Pros

- It’s good that you can work remotely - Most of the people on the team are friendly and respectful

Cons

- It is a diabolical place to work, management do not care about people’s mental health or wellbeing. They claim they’re trained to do so but management belittle people who are below them. - There is a workaholic mentality that is enforced, managers do not step in to prevent this - in fact, this is encouraged. - There’s a lack of accountability for their actions or flippant remarks. - They do not respect new people who are very young. - They fail to understand conditions such as ADHD and autism. - There’s favouritism that is apparent but there is not an understanding that people’s brains can work differently so they won’t be the same as someone else who has these conditions. - All other jobs I’ve had thus far have been so accommodating and I’ve performed excellently. Their standards are too unrealistic and they really treat you like you’re a ‘robot’. - Upon leaving, they gave my exit interview at an inconvenient time. Further showing they didn’t value me. I have heard the same from past employees. - I don’t recommend working here as you don’t get paid well, you get overworked, there’s favouritism and you don’t have any autonomy over your work, they micromanage you against their favourites. - It’s meant to be a team that looks out for each other but it isn’t like that, management have ruined that. - People generally are friendly but the management is absolutely dreadful, they get a kick out of mistreating their employees seemingly. - You shouldn’t be pressurised to work beyond your hours just because others are also online - it’s terrible

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for acknowledging the positive aspects of working remotely and the supportive nature of many people. We’re sorry to hear that your overall experience did not meet your expectations. We take wellbeing, respectful behaviour, and inclusive management seriously, and we do not recognise a culture where overwork, disrespect, or mistreatment are encouraged. Our managers and people are trained and enabled to support their teams appropriately, and we have clear policies and processes in place to promote fair treatment, reasonable working hours, and accountability. Additionally, our engagement surveys always consistently score highly in the area of 'flexibility', it's disappointing you didn't feel this way whilst working here. As an employer, we work to support individuals in line with our policies and legal responsibilities, and we encourage concerns to be raised through appropriate channels so they can be addressed constructively. We recognise that experiences can differ, and feedback like this is considered as part of our ongoing efforts to improve. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and wish you the best for the future.
