Pros
Excellent benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K, accident, illness, long term disability) at a lower cost than other places I have worked. Over 20 PTO days per year. They will also match a donation to a charity of your choice once a year. Nirvana room with massage chairs Free workout room that is better than some gyms The office tries to have fun- food days, contests, wellness events, etc. Cafeteria with discounted salad bar Electric car charging stations
Cons
The job was fine until we were trained on inquiry. Then we just became the complaint department with people, including Allstate Agents, yelling at us and threatening us over things that are out of our hands. Property was added later, doubling or workload, but pay remained the same. If there is an emergency or illness, PTO is not usually available, resulting in an occurrence, no matter what the reason. People have gotten occurrences for surgery, going into premature labor, and car accidents. Having to work holidays and weekends means there is no work/life balance. There are not enough promotional opportunities. They made a big deal over bumping everyone to 15.00 per hour, but that is lower than industry standards. Most competitors start out at around 20.00 per hour.
