Pros

The product line is extensive. The coworkers are nice, however, since we are considered independent, there is very little team support. The company serves the client exactly as they promise. No one should be without this affordable form of insurance .

Cons

There is no base salary. There is an office, franchises, and several officers that one reports to. What they neglect to mention is that this is a door knocking, door to door, sales approach. If this is not your thing in any way whatsoever, please walk away.they rely on you to sell to friends and neighbors, which is a good thing, but difficult. Clients make appointments and do not show up. It's frustrating.

Pros

Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

Cons

No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
