      Pros

      Work life balance -- the parking lot is mostly empty by 5:30p.m. The brand looks great on your resume. The company makes a significant investment in IT, particularly as it relates to the field force and new business. Long-term senior leadership that has high integrity and commitment to the community.

      Cons

      Professional talent is underutilized. Lacks some of the sophistication one would expect at a Fortune 200 company. ROI-based decision making is infrequent.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
