Pros

Teams can be quite nice to work with and overall perks are good. Projects are quite large and interesting.

Cons

HR will downgrade your level so that you get accustomed to Accenture ways of working and you get told you will get promoted within a year. Then guess what? Not a single experienced hire I've met has gotten any promotions in the past three years despite working tirelessly and at high stakes positions since they were overall cheap for projects given they had more experience at lower levels so could do management roles at consultant salaries. People who did get promoted are those that people already know in the department, sometimes even after 1 year at level, and managing smaller projects and teams. There is zero fairness. On top of this lack of promotions the company has not given any raises for staying at level so given the cost of living crisis you are basically losing money. To top it off you get zero training or support coming in, you don't even meet half your department and it takes months to get to know people.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
