Pros
You can get a decent salary, only if you sign up for projects abroad.
Cons
- Base salary is ridiculously low. Even if they advertise a "senior" position, they want to hire you as a "junior", regardless if you have experience or not. Then they won't promote you, because "you have just started here!". - They are making decisions above your head, and they'll just inform you the results they get. For example they'll tell you on a Friday afternoon that you have to go to work in a small town in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country from Monday. - They won't help you, but they'll pull you back with the cheapskate, illogical mentality. They won't help you to find an accommodation or to tell you how to get to the middle of nowhere in a foreign country, but they think that you can find cheap flight tickets and hotels at the last minute, what is basically impossible. - They are wasting money in a really high volume, and when they realise that they're running out of budget, they start to complain about the smallest amount of costs, like tickets to use public transportation - You have basically no influence on what kind of projects you will get, but they'll deem you a "problematic employee", if you say no to their BS. - They expect you to travel internationally on your own time. That makes 40 hours worked + 13-17 hours travelled per week. Just... ridiculous... - Have I mentioned that their culture has nothing to do with the Corporate Value BS they are talking about?
