      Pros

      Great industry to be in you can definitely learn a lot about tech and you can get your feet wet at Edison. However 3-6 months is more than enough time to spend there before the environment becomes toxic and in some cases violent.

      Cons

      The owner is truly unstable mentally and has some issues which can make your life pretty miserable. Rude behavior and poor communication skills really makes it a difficult place to survive. The company has poor revenue streams and the company really does not make enough money. The pressure builds each quarter and the owner takes it out on his employees.

      Pros

      It was a great experience to learn and work with new technologies and to meet many of the people in the industry. I was afforded the opportunity to learn new skills while keeping my current skills up to date.

      Cons

      The CTO is a violent and angry man. I have dealt with aggression, violence, and a volatile work environment. I could suggest or recommend something and my suggestions would be shot down only to be brought back up from the CTO as something that should be done. I was never given credit for my skills, knowledge, and abilities. I faced many unfounded accusations including stealing only to find out that the owner forgot that he authorized purchases. Tempers flair up and you have to be ready to defend yourself. I finally left once the CTO put his hands on me.

      Interesting, ever-changing. Potential real service to customers. Serious sales training but flawed implementation and consistency.
