This company is obsessed with being “award-worthy” and building a brand around its own hype — but behind the scenes, it’s a different story. The leadership team expects employees to feel grateful just to be there, as if association with their brand is compensation enough. Spoiler: it’s not.
The benefits are performative — designed to polish the company’s image rather than improve employees’ lives. It’s all about what looks good from the outside, not what actually works. The biggest issue? All but one of the owners have never worked anywhere else. The only one who has worked anywhere else is retiring soon.
