Pros

- Culture. People get along well and do what they can to help each other. the CEO really cares about his company and his employees.

Cons

-director of 'sales and marketing' has not actually sold anything or updated his sales methodologies since the 70s. Completely unsure of his marketing skills. -company has virtually no marketing. -quota is unattainable--enjoy base salary! -provide ZERO resources except for a phone to sell anything--can't attend trade shows, entertain customers or prospects etc. They are selling into a market where it takes money to make money...and they have/ provide reps with none.

Since your time at Netage (now Dynamo Software), we have separated and defined our Sales and Marketing teams, and hired new leadership which has led to a consistent year-over-year growth averaging over 20% since 2011. We know that when we increased emphasis in growing our sales and marketing team that our financially lean model presented some challenges to employees, but operating with fiscal conservancy has allowed us to organically grow without requiring layoffs to react to fluctuations in the economy. Our employees consistently provide feedback that they enjoy the continuity in work-life balance and our culture, which has led to well-above industry-average tenures. We understand that some of the challenges during accelerated growth require individuals to work outside of their comfort zone, but we hope that through the continued investment in our personnel, department budgets, and office resources, that we can minimize the difficulty of the work across all of our teams. I appreciate your feedback on your time at Dynamo, and I expect that the changes that we have undergone since the time of your review have addressed the areas of concern in your review. I wish you all the best in your current role, and I would invite you to reengage with us if the opportunity permits – I think that you will be pleasantly surprised by our current position across sales and marketing compared to where we were five years ago. Thank you, Krassen

You can have a job but not a career at Dynamo

Pros

Global org so you can work with teams from various geographical locations. Flexible work hours Decent mid level management

Cons

TLDR, dead end job, low quality employees and the VC owners are only looking to sell off the company. Low salary increase year over year (1-2%). No racial diversity. Avoid if you want to learn, grow, and have a career. The org has become transactional, and Farncisco Partners (VC Owners) are only focused on selling off the company. As a result the sole focus of the company is to maximize value for shareholders which means, do more with less - employees are being asked to work ridiculous number of hours because the owners don't want to invest and hire, no investment on employees, no focus on org culture or employee well being. The benefits also took a hit as a result and are below industry standards. The worst is that the organization does not focus on quality, there is no emphasis on hiring quality employees or improve underperforming employees. There is no career growth, if you take a role just expect to stay in it forever. No transparency and huge lack of communication from leadership. No communication on organizational goals, objectives, and next steps. Once in a while the company holds an all hands call which is pretty useless and gives you no direction on where the company is headed. High performing employees are leaving because there is no reward for high performance. Company did well during the pandemic but the rewards did not make it to the employees. Leadership is all men and the company has zero diversity or inclusion initiatives. No collaboration between different departments. Most of the tech team is in Eastern Europe leading to various issues. CTO is snobbish and does not collaborate with others. Every department is only focused on their departmental goals and work in silo, as a result the org struggles to have a common goal / North Star.
