Pros

DMI is a good company to work for, and fun industry as we are in the business of skin care and body care products.

Cons

Not many cons, maybe more flexibility on remote work for employees, but we are manufacturing so its hard to work from home.

Pros

-Good work/life balance (not mandatory to work overtime). -Learn a lot of cosmetic manufacturing.

Cons

-Poor benefits and favoritism. -A lot of yelling. -No career growth or promotions. -No couch from your boss or upper management. -No bonus, no promotion, no Christmas party or bonus, no any gift to employees due to any holiday/birthday/season. -Opinion: You have to be very careful about implementing or proposing process improvements on this company. You will find a lot of constraints on the process: Upper management is not really interested of its business being changed, unless they find a problem....they will look for somebody to blame and then, you can make your proposal. This company is perfect for "yesmen" or "yes-soldier" and people that like to chit-chat every morning with their bosses. If you are not that way....be careful on any job offer for this company.

Pros

The people you work with are nice. Many are very pleasant, but you have to be careful of those who pretend to be a close colleague, but repeat your musings to upper management.

Cons

Gosh! Where do I begin? Upper management is toxic, arrogant, are NEVER wrong, expect you to know everything, and if you're don't they will yell and scream at you. They have no respect for anyone who works for them, expects employees to do without (raises, reviews), and have the arrogant approach to employment by believing that one should be grateful they have a job. Upper management also feels as if they own you once you're hired. They expect you to work overtime without compensation, compensate certain individuals with bonuses, time off, extra vacation time, and allowing their 'favorites' or those whom they believe are 'valuable' to the company a great deal of leeway with their errors. They project their failures and faults on others, and just are beyond arrogant, haughty, and downright despicable. And yet they will see you in the plant and say hi to you with the same arrogance they possess and expect you to feel honored that they even acknowledged you. The morale in the company sucks because they suck at running a company and ensuring that you are miserable so they can line their pockets on your hard work.
