Pros

Great Christmas parties and other social events. Colleagues are very easy to get along with.

Cons

If your face suddenly doesn't fit they will find something to push you out, seen it so many times - quote from CEO Paul Mackintosh 'he likes going to court' Always drama - take two weeks off and someone has unexpectedly left the company (which is not to be discussed!) The family ethos - if you are used to a dysfunctional family Turnover of the staff very high Pay negotiation - only seems to work when you put your notice in to move to another company False promises in pay reviews for advancement, training, and wage increase Being encouraged by upper management to give false testimony (do not mention the franchises) to the ISO auditors.

Datasharp Response

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Datasharp. It must have been many years since you apparently worked for us as Paul McIntosh has had no active involvement with the company for 10 years and officially resigned from the business in 2018. We are a business that greatly values our talented and dedicated staff members and show this in the way we respect, support and nurture our great team. We are glad you enjoyed all the social events that we regularly arrange for our team. We are very proud of the brilliant and talented group of people that we have at our company and enjoy rewarding them for their incredible work. We care about nurturing a positive working environment with mutual respect as our time spent at work is a significant part of people's lives. We provide career advancement to management, progression, training, inter departmental moves and home working and office based hybrid working where we can to enhance our team’s quality of life and the very important work-life balance. We believe it is for this reason we have such a loyal team with a very low staff turnover being >60% of our team have been with us for 5 years+ (with 30% 10 years+ and 15% 20 years+). We are also delighted to have had people spend the majority of their careers with us and have since retired. We wish you the best for your future and hope our response helps provide an insight into Datasharp, our ethos and how we care about our brilliant team. Jane Cockcroft MD
