Pros

Not one thing was worth having employment at that company

Cons

Everything about this company is a con. They claim “you should be grateful to work for a such a great company” when they don’t care about work life balance. They don’t care about your kids or personal life. My managers were racist (told me to bring rice and beans to the potluck and yup I’m Puerto Rican and don’t know how to make rice and beans). They always say “you’ll never make what you make here anywhere else” but about 50% of your income is commission based and they make it near impossible to hit the quota. leadership is numbers driven and has zero empathy for how overworked everyone is. Considering how incredibly understaffed they remain. No amount of work you do will ever be enough. There are no trainings, resources or knowledgeable enough people to assist. There is ZERO career progression once you make it to be an Account Manager. I could go on all day. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Pros

- Leadership team (Solid background with prior history of entrepreneurial success) - Opportunity (The small business insurance space is ripe for disruption and we are one of the first players) - People (Hardworking yet fun international team) - VCs ( Funded by some of the top VCs in the country)

Cons

- Not for everyone. You need to be comfortable working in a super fast paced environment, which means taking on significant ownership, making quick decisions and executing fast and often.

Pros

There is nothing beneficial about working for CoverWallet

Cons

This is the worst company I have ever been a part of. Most of our team quit because of unrealistic goals, being overworked and underpaid, and management. The goals increase each month even though individuals barely hit the monthly target. They are more focused on bringing in customers but couldn’t care less about retaining them. Most of our team has quit which has dumped their work on to our workload and no one is doing anything to help us about it. People are quitting every single week to get out of this toxic environment. There is no work life balance. Those that still work here are trying to find an escape ASAP. The management team both of the account managers and upper are not in this for the right reasons. Managers only show they care when people are putting in their notices to quit. If you attempt to quit they act surprised like they don’t hear our concerns and complaints and want to offer more money for us to stay, I’m counting my days until I don’t have to be employed here anymore
