Horrible communication from leadership. Directions change constantly. Poorly trained supervisors and unaccountable leadership. Also the unnecessary competition amongst staff for promotion and positioning creates a toxic work environment. More egos than purpose is rampant. I low key hate this place but the money is good and you can be your way to job security until layoff season comes around.

- Complete lack of strategic direction from two (!) co-presidents negatively impacts every department. - Heard "this is where organizers go to die" multiple times which speaks to the complacency of longtime staff and, frankly, the excellent benefits. - Management is extremely adversarial with the union leading to distrust and low morale. - Laid off 30% of the staff in 2024 due to foreseeable budget constraints. They kept the empty $2 million office building, though.
