Good for employees in Security domain but run in a start up / amateur mode for being a Consulting organization

    Pros

Remote work and ability to work 50% from home

    Cons

Contractor hours are not billed as part of the SOW when selling to client and contractors are expected to work 2 week and take 2 week unpaid time off and again come back 2 week as that is how sales and delivery sold the contract. Full time employees gets paid for bench, and 30-40% are on bench beginning and end of year. Average engagement is 8-15 weeks. 1-2 people are in charge of capacity planning. Review process for exchanging feedback is archaic and very political. with inexperienced employees running delivery, PMO and Sales areas. Few people area Sales 'stars' because they underbid contracts by 60-70% by selling something for 8 weeks when it could be a 8 month engagement.

    Interesting

    Pros

    - wide variety of Cloud assessments and implementations - Great support from management

    Cons

-too much time on the bench while between projects. -much of the culture of CTP will going away during its transformation to a HPE company. -too many favorites and not enough opportunities to others -Interesting that after the purchase by HPE, Bruce Coughlin left telling everyone how great the company was doing and then many got laid off. Management claimed the layoffs were due to algorithm and that they didn't make or have a choice.

    Pros

People are awesome to work with. This place really is like a family. We look out for each other and have a "no jerks" policy that keeps us great! The CEO is one of the best people you will ever meet and one of the best business people you will ever meet. The HR team actually cares about each employee and constantly monitors the health and happiness of the organization. Our technology leaders are unmatched in their field (look them up online) Free snacks! Cool office! Great celebrations! Great people!

    Cons

Business happens fast and furious and there is a struggle to keep up with the pace but everyone pitches in. The integration with HPE is just now starting to flourish and reach 2+2=5 status.

On the way to being a great company

    Pros

CTP has thus far been the best experience of my career. I've never worked in a company with so many co-workers who actually care about what they are doing and a management team who cares a lot about all of our co-workers. The environment is very dynamic and we work with a lot of cutting edge technology (but also lots of enterprise & older technology when working with clients also). The work tends to be quite challenging and there are lots of opportunities to expand your knowledge because of this. The management team actually listens to feedback and endeavors to rectify the situation (if able). Get to travel during the week (Monday - Friday) for some clients (but not all).

    Cons

Timelines are sometimes aggressive. 50% travel can be draining after awhile, but having a week or two at home helps a lot.
