      Everyone is driven to be part of something bigger, and to help out around the office

      Cons

      As an intern I was unpaid, but it was compensated by a good experience.

      Intelligent individuals for the most part.

      Cons

      Revolving door of political surrogates as senior managers who are disorganized and unprofessional. Undue focus on and direct involvement in electoral politics. Good storytelling and Clinton family cult-of-personality used to detract from work that isn't being accomplished or scaled in a substantial way. Toxic culture.

      Pros

      Smart, hard-working, young staff. Good locations in both Boston and New York. Decent opportunities to learn more about your field, provided your original job title aligns with your ultimate interests. (There's not much mobility between roles.)

      Cons

      Mismanagement by holdovers from past political campaigns/administrations. While some of these folks are incredibly competent, most are either distracted by other responsibilities or coasting on positions they have through political patronage.
