Pros

Flexible hours, good benefits. This is supposed to be 20 words minimum but it's really hard to find that many words to describe the good stuff.

Cons

No career growth, no pay increases, a bunch of old timers waiting to retire. A complete lack of vision. Run by family members and an ageing owner's kindergarten friends.

Growing as a professional is easy within the company. Moreover, company culture is very welcoming. I would recommend to anyone without any hesitation.

Cons

Selection process is a bit lengthy and time consuming. Other than that this company is very good and appealing.

Pros

Some very competent people, not flashy, can learn a lot as I did working in software product development. Had a very strong technology and product suite in the 90s. Lots of strong experienced people with incredibly long tenures makes for product stability.

Cons

Products are now ancient. Company is milking old technologies and completely unsuited for the oncoming new technology trends and in every sense of the word a dinosaur. The management keeps getting reshuffled constantly without being held accountable for their performance. It is a privately held company, and has been run by one person since inception.
