I have been working at Asana Rebel full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The team is fantastic. Warm, caring and friendly people.

    Cons

Management team have change strategy multiple times in a short amount of time including current strategy of copying a competition (org design, business model, look and feel). Culture is toxic now and is so sad to see. Recent restructuring removed most strategical expertise from company.

    Advice to Management

Stop micromanaging, listen to staff expertise, focus on regaining positive culture and create a company strategy that’s unique to Asana Rebel (not copying competitor)

I have been working at Asana Rebel full-time

    Pros

I met the best people & professionals... sadly they do not take care of them and either they fire them or end up leaving... Asana you are destroying the bit of a company culture you ever had (and mainly built up by the employees in there)

    Cons

Changing stuff around every 3 months shows how crazy is it in there... copying the competitors isn’t the best solution to succeed. Unfortunately the vibe in the company right now is very toxic, result of them letting go a bunch of talents for no reason, not a good place to be at this moment.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees, without them you are absolutely NOTHING... well, take care of the few ones that are still there (laughing emoji). Management is awful, your professional expertise won’t have a place in there over their decisions, you will always lose against them!

I have been working at Asana Rebel full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Healthy feedback process (not very common in other places) - Developing process is flexible - Sweet benefits - Never a boring moment

    Cons

    - Fast developing process can be hard sometimes, but overall very interesting

    Advice to Management

Coming from one of the top countries in hi-tech and startups, I often see how good processes are overlooked and ignored in Berlin, and I can see that in 1.5 years that I have worked here, the learning process of the company and the good hiring practice are making the company more and more successful. Continue growing and learning as you do, I am very happy to be part of Asana Rebel.

Couldn't imagine a nicer work environment!

    Cons

    - nothing that would be atypical for a startup company!

Need to put something here to submit

I have been working at Asana Rebel full-time

    Pros

Very international team Plenty of autonomy to do your job in the way that you best see fit Fast decision-making Open to different ideas

    Cons

Salaries could be higher but this is typical of Berlin start-ups and is made-up with great benefits and a very nice work environment / colleagues

I have been working at Asana Rebel full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    1) Clean and smooth on-boarding 2) Good level of trust and support 3) Collaboration and spontaneous communication is preferred over excessive formality and too-many-meetings 4) People are usually motivated and passionate about their own role and the company mission 5) This contributes to a generally healthy environment (people don't overwork, work out together, eat together)

    Cons

The company is in learning and growing phase, so I would recommend working here to everyone but people who have issues with pragmatic problem solving & navigating changes.

    Advice to Management

To protect the culture and atmosphere while formalising processes & frameworks in order to ensure a good collaboration as the company keeps on growing.

Free Snacks and some yoga sometimes

    Cons

Horrible company culture. No values whatsoever and a misleading ESOP

    Advice to Management

Horrible management team. No worries for its employees whatsoever. CTO is a joke.

    Pros

    - Super flat hierarchies and open communication between all "levels" - Exciting projects and strategy to create something really new in the health and fitness space - Start-up working environment with maturing "core" processes

    Cons

    - No real cons - some "typical" start pains, however most of them are addressed in the current "growth phase"
