Pros
Every staff person working for the agency had the best intentions and worked very hard to make a difference in the lives of survivors. Open door policy - always able to share your thoughts and views on situations.
Cons
Work life and personal life for some staff could not be separated, due to other staff not meeting their share of responsibility in meeting needs of survivors. Work was disproportionate . Unfortunately salaries were tied to funding and federally required benefits. Personal agendas came at a tremendous cost to this agency.
