If you enjoy bureaucracy, frustration and slow pace where nothing actually gets done, but incessantly hear the mantra "we are responsible to our rate payers" then this is the environment for you.

Cons

Just about everything. They claim to want to be better and strive for excellence, but the culture simply does not support excellence in any way. In addition, unethical practices permeate the organization to justify the mismanagement of the revenue granted by the commission.

Pros

Growing company in the electrical industry. Being in the North East Calgary the parking was free. Can't say much else positive about it.

Cons

Start with low number of vacation days and lower pay when compared to other employers. Need to be there 10 years before they increase. Very political, senior managers that are unprofessional. Management is hostile to union employees. Safety not a high priority. High pressure work environment. Training was a low priority.
