In my experience, this was one of the most poorly managed HR and leadership teams I've ever encountered. People are treated terribly at AltaML. The leadership team lacks the professionalism, competence, and accountability needed to build a sustainable organization. The company is heavily dependent on grants and student programs, there is no evidence of a business model capable of generating long-term success. What stood out most to me when I worked there was the high turnover. The most talented people the company hire leave within 1-3 years. The constant departure of experienced, talented employees raises serious concerns about the culture, leadership, and overall direction of the company. Looking at the company's LinkedIn history, the turnover over the past several years is significant. In my view, talented professionals rarely stay. I would not recommend this company to experienced professionals seeking stability, strong leadership, or meaningful career growth.
