About CSMC
Canadian Strategic Missions Corporation is developing advanced energy and aerospace technologies that include nuclear microreactors for space and extreme environments, quantum sensing platforms, and mission critical deep tech systems. We are hiring a Nuclear Engineer with strong neutronics and reactor physics expertise to join our reactor design team and help build the physics foundation of our micro modular reactor programs.
This is a hands on technical role in a fast moving environment. You will develop high fidelity neutronics models, run transport and diffusion simulations, support multiphysics integration, and contribute to first of a kind reactor concepts.
About the Role
You will work on neutron transport simulations, core physics modeling, reactivity and kinetics evaluations, fuel cycle and burnup analysis, multiphysics coupling with thermal hydraulics and structural teams, benchmark and validation work, and nuclear data processing. You will collaborate closely with engineering, safety, and program teams to produce defensible and auditable reactor physics outputs suitable for a regulated environment.
