I applied to Ebay Netherlands. The interview was composed of 5 rounds. Interviewers were based in mixture of US and NL. 1 initial system design (passed), 2 coding and algorithms (passed), 1 behavioral interview with the research manager (passed), and 1 final system design (terribly failed). All did very well, challenging at times. Behavioral interview did not focus on behaviour, rather it was like another design interview, questions from the tech world, etc, which was unexpected. I did almost 5-star results in all of them, except the last system design round. The interview was awful, as well as the interviewer himself. He kept interrupting me everytime I tried to explain my thinking/solution, and tried to sidetrack me from what I focused on. He had a disrespectful and annoying attitude. Imagine that: in the entire 60 minutes, I could draw only 2 boxes and an arrow. Probably this explains how terrible it went. I am sad that I was interviewed by someone who joined Ebay only 3 months ago. Unprofessional and clueless. Waste of my efforts.
