Tic Tac Toe
Interviewer is so vague with question clarification. To save you some trouble, let me explain the question here, design a tic tac toe game, where you can simulate two players, generate valid moves, announce winner and print the final board.

The core focus was on a many-hour coding assignment. I would say I got stuck for some period of time on difficulties but, as I was able to describe how I got stuck and otherwise make good progress, I still received an offer.
