I was given a take-home assessment. In the previous round of interviews, I was told that I could finish the assessment in a few weeks as I was quite busy ( I confirmed this later in an email as well). However, when I sent them back the results in 2 weeks, I was told that they just assumed that I was not interested in the job and had already taken someone for the position.
