I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ZoomInfo (East Grand Ra, MI) in May 2016
Interview
Phone interview with hiring manager, in-person interview with hiring manager plus web interview with two other executive team members - the final step is to deliver a 30/60/90 day sales plan.
The company seemed disorganized and unprofessional. Initially I was excited about the opportunity, but after chatting with some of the managers and executives, I realized that it was not what I was looking for. I think this showed in my presentation and conversation and did not progress to an offer or the next stage of the interview.
Parts of the interview were conducted via video displayed on an iPad mini with headphones. We had internet troubles and a delay in the feed that made for a rather bland experience (on both ends I'm sure).
The local manager seemed easy to get along with and successful and could be someone I could work with. They ultimately said they were choosing other candidates which was a response I was grateful for.
The compensation seemed really good which was the only reason I would have considered the move - but I had some questions and concerns about the reality and operational structure to support their growth that were never directly answered.

Question 1
Mostly questions about myself, what motivates me, how I structure my day, how many prospecting calls I make and how I measure success.

Interview
Check out the team on ZoomInfo, and you might get an idea of whether you'll be selected or not. My first-round interview with HR was a bit off, the recruiter came across as rude and rushed through the conversation. I didn’t hear back for 2 weeks until her colleague reached out to schedule the next round with two managers.
Honestly, it was the worst interview experience I’ve ever had. Both managers seemed uninterested the moment they joined, one even showed up 10 minutes late without saying anything. Felt like they just wanted to get it done with, which made me feel very uncomfortable right from the start. Understand that work can be hectic, but I would’ve appreciated transparency or a rescheduled call rather than feeling like I was intruding on their time.
Great company with excellent products, can definitely see why companies buy them, but the whole interview left such a bad impression.

Interview
I applied online.
I was contacted by the recruiter
The recruiter only wanted to hear what she was aiming for.
When talking about my skills and motivation, it seemed like she did not care and was even annoyed by it.
Do not reccomend

Question 1
Tell me about your last job and your previous job.
Multiple meetings with people up and down the org. Was turned away at some point with no feedback as to why. Maybe they get a lot of applicants, but they continue to fire lots of AE's every year. They also keep bringing in people with no software experience which is interesting.
