      Product Support Expert - Follow Up Boss Interview

      I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zillow (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2024

      Interview

      Incredibly lengthy and rigorous for a just a basic call center job. First step is a phone screening with the recruiter, they ask you about your experience and about Zillow. If the recruiter like you they send you a take-home assessment with 3 customer support cases. Seconds and final step is a Zoom interview with a hiring manager and someone who is working at the role you are applying for. The whole interview is questions about customer service, how were you evaluated in your previous roles, if you know about KPIs and a lot of STAR-type questions. Since the role was a bit confusing for me since I am someone with a Bachelor's in Engineering and was trying to find a Support Engineer role, I based my questions on how would the day to day look like and what were the most common issues to resolve just to find out that this role is all about taking 30+ calls from angry real state agents per day. 1 month after I got a call from the recruiter saying they decided to not move forward with me but I would have declined the offer anyways.
