      HR Manager Interview

      I interviewed at Yilu (Berlin)

      Interview

The interviews were professional, with some good questions and clear information on what the job is about. However, the team asked for a case study (wasn't too bad) and based on the prepared document decided who gets to the next round. I found it highly unprofessional to ask for a case study and do not let the candidate present it. Well made presentation has maybe 10% of content that presenter wants to share with the public, therefore you either let the candidate present what they prepared or decide against case studies. Horrible candidate experience.

      Question 1

Mainly about past experiences, why I am searching for a new opportunity - all pretty standard.

Dear Candidate, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about our interview process. We’re glad you found the interviews professional and appreciated the clarity about the role. We truly value your perspective on the case study component. Your concern about not having the opportunity to present your prepared material is valid, and we regret that this aspect negatively impacted your experience. Ensuring a fair and transparent process is important to us, and your comments will help us refine how we incorporate case studies in the future to provide a more engaging candidate experience. Thanks again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your career journey. Warm regards, Yilu People & Culture Team
