I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp (New York, NY) in Oct 2014
Interview
I received an email requesting to set up a phone interview. The first phone interview is short, about 15 minutes, where you will be asked general questions and do a short role play. My second interview was a Skype interview. It was about 45 minutes, with 3 separate sales managers. I had to do role plays with each of them. After that, I got an email requesting that I sign up for a webinar and apply for a background check. The webinar is about a half hour and just goes into a lot of detail about what the job is. After the webinar, I got an email setting up a third phone interview with a recruiter. The recruiter called me, asked me some general questions, and offered me the job at the end of the phone call.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yelp (Wake Forest, NC)
Interview
Very professional, informative, and timely interview process. I was very impressed with how well put together the entire process was and how fast things moved. Everyone on the hiring team was extremely punctual and even willing to take extra time to make sure all your questions are answered.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yelp (Austin, TX) in May 2026

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
