I applied online. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer in Nov 2022
Interview
I received a phone screen from a recruiter located in Chicago. In the beginning it seemed to go well, but she immediately asked what my pay expectation was and gave a brief description of the position. The hours are much longer during the winter and spring season. She asked what my long term goals were, and since I didn't say my long term goal was to remain in the same role as customer service technical associate, her attitude swiftly changed. When I asked, "what the next steps were she raised her voice and said "Well, there is not going to be..." then she caught herself and said, "I will first see if there is another role that will also be a good fit, and give you a call tomorrow." I sent her a follow up email and never heard back again. It was rude, but I think she did me a favor. This company seems to be looking to over work and take advantage of employees.
