I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Wendy's (Orem, UT) in Sep 2013
Interview
I got asked pointless questions in order for them to find out how was as a person, they also had it inside the store next to customers which I found odd since it was kinda inconvenient to the customers because we took up seats, I also felt uncomfortable being around a ton of people during a job interview, now I understand why they may have done this but for a 16 yr old kid that was nerve racking and caused me to actually have a mini anxiety attack but I wouldn't tell them because I really needed the job and didn't want to be scrutinized for asking to have the interview take place somewhere a bit more private
Standard fast food interview. Gave experience, asked about availability, nothing really too special. Real easy interview. Its just fast food, so not exactly a hardball interview asking about Excel, advanced degrees, etc. The place seemed clean and interview was on time.
Interview was in the dining room of the restaurant, included being walked around store and being introduced to other crew members and given worker's authorization papers. Very low stress, asked about hobbies.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Wendy's (Mendoza) in May 2026
