applied online and waited for a long time to get an interview, which seems normal in Wells Fargo. I was on a phone interview for approximately 30 minutes and the interview was mostly technical and a few behavioral questions towards the end. However, it took me a month to find out i didn't get an offer, pretty slow in terms of the recruiting process
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
how do you underwrite a loan? why is cash flow important?
Contacted by an analyst and recruiter for an interview. Review based on initial phone screen. Selected for final round interview. Very nice interviewer and good behavior-based questions about my experiences. Simple questions about finance (the statements)
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Boston, MA) in May 2021
Interview
Took about a month, since applying, to get scheduled for a first round. There are 2 rounds, although some people will have to pass a recruiter/HR screen first (I skipped this step).
My first round consisted of basic get to know you questions, some behavioral stuff, and the last question was a technical question asking me to explain the financial statements and how they tie together. 3 hours after my interview I received a follow up for a final round interview. I've never heard back from an employer that fast before. Second round was the same thing but they asked a question regarding how I would deem a pizza shop credit worthy. After 2 months of waiting, I didn't get the job.

Question 1
How do the financial statements tie together and explain them?
I applied online. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Blacksburg, VA) in Mar 2021
Interview
It was a pretty standard interview process. The position I was applying for was not clear and I quickly changed my mind mid interview. Wells Fargo is a great company, it just did not fit what I was looking for.
