Interview
There was an email disbursed by the Electronics and Electrical engineering department to all the students of Wayne State University. We had to write an email to the specified professor with relevant experience, cover letter and resume attached. Professor gave me a date and time to see him in the room. I went to his room and he asked me a few questions related to MATLAB. I answered some of his questions. He was satisfied with my answers and he offered me a job. He sent me an email with the professor in loop under whom I had to work.
I applied online through Handshake, asked to come in for one round interview a few days later, interview was in person and very casual, and was then was notified of results on the same day

Easy - Zoom meeting. Very welcoming and encouraging. Small staff but explained the expectations well. Asked questions about my goals and hobbies. Interested in my studies and how I could apply them to the work.
