Pays well above minimum wage, many opportunities will have flexible hours, and it's a nice place to work at. (Obviously, if you're a student, you're probably well acquainted with how beautiful campus can be on a sunny day...!)
You don't get a U-Pass unless you're also in summer courses, so the commute is going to cost you a bunch more than you're used to, if you're coming in from off campus.
I applied online. I interviewed at University of British Columbia.
Submitted resume online and had interview with 4 senior designers / art directors. Very standard behaviour questions and asked a lot of past relevant experience and portfolio. They made me comfortable and show me around the office after the interview
