I've had some bad interview experiences here and there over the years, but I've never been compelled to write a review about it. I was beyond disappointed with my interview and candidate experience with Wayfair. I had really high hopes for Wayfair and the position I applied to sounded perfect for what I was looking for. I was excited and prepared for my initial phone interview, but things quickly went south. Spoke with Recruiter #1, who was 15 minutes late for our call (which was fine, these things happen). Conversation went really well, and he told me that he was going to speak with the hiring manager the following day, and they would work to get me in for an in-person interview shortly thereafter. I followed up, and weeks later, still no response. Then, I received an email from Recruiter #2. I responded immediately with my availability for a phone interview, and it took him the better part of a week to get back to me. Was still excited for my second phone call with Wayfair, hoping Recruiter #1 was just a fluke, but Recruiter #2 never ended up calling at our scheduled time. I wrote him to see if he'd like to reschedule, and I'm still waiting on a response. Even if I do end up hearing back, I'm no longer interested in working for Wayfair, given that I was going after a role in HR, and these would be my potential colleagues. Based on other reviews I've read here, unfortunately it seems I'm not the only one who has had this type of experience.
