I recently went through the interview process with Disney, and I have to say, it was one of the most frustrating experiences of my professional life.
From the beginning, communication was lacking. The recruiter was virtually non-existent, often leaving me in the dark about the next steps.
When I finally had my second interview, the interviewer was friendly and encouraging, even saying I did great and offering to help me prepare for the next round. He shared his email address, which I appreciated, and I felt optimistic about my prospects.
However, after this positive interaction, the ghosting returned—this time for a staggering six weeks. I reached out multiple times, hoping for an update, but my messages went unanswered. It was disheartening to feel so ignored, especially after receiving such positive feedback.
Eventually, I did receive a response, but it was a rejection. The lack of professionalism throughout the process was disappointing.
Overall, the process left me feeling undervalued and frustrated.
