I applied through university. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Orlando, FL) in Oct 2017
Interview
Phone interview with recruiter and senior graphic designer listening in on the call. Straightforward process, asked me to talk about my works on my online portfolio. At the end they asked me questions such as my favourite Disney character, conflict resolution and working with other people.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Burbank, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
The interview went well overall; casual and relaxed. I was asked about my workflow, portfolio/resume, what-if situation questions, and new ideas I would suggest. The manager talked about the work that would be made in their specific department and what to expect on the job. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. The manager also had my portfolio and resume open, so she asked a lot of questions on the work I made that didn't pertain to only graphic design.
