I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Walmart
Interview
It was very hard, and the interviewers looked very serious and had not smile all the time. That’s my first time to feel very stressed and uncomfortable in an interview. I thought I was interviewed for an executive role.

Question 1
How do you influence others when you have no direct authority over them?
My interview experience at Walmart Sourcing was highly disappointing. I was asked how to do projections for the next year, which seemed reasonable at first. However, the manager began asking detailed questions, including how to tell a seller is a branded seller. only to reveal that she was unfamiliar with commonly used industry terms.
At the interview, the manager avoided answering my questions about the job description, merely stating that more information would be provided if there was a next round. I am not sure she is either unwilling to or unable to provide more detail. This made me question whether she understood the role at all.
It felt as though the hiring process was being used to have candidates do work for her without any intention of providing clarity or moving forward with the hiring process.
I would advise others to be cautious when considering opportunities with this company.
