I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart in Oct 2015
Interview
It was a 30 minute behavioral interview with some easy math questions. It was not intimidating or hard to prepare for at all. Only one round of interviews for the intern position.
The interview process included a behavioral screening. Then, the interview process proceeded with a round one interview which was technical-focused, and round two interview which was a combination of technical and behavioral questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview consisted primarily of behavioral and situational questions, with a few logical reasoning and technical questions mixed in. The behavioral and situational questions focused on past experiences, problem-solving approaches, and teamwork.
The interview process for the Walmart internship was organized and straightforward. Recruiters were professional, asked clear behavioral and situational questions, and communicated next steps promptly, making the experience stress-free and informative.
