I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Walmart (Thunder Bay, ON) in Jul 2013
Interview
Had a one on one with my future department manager and store manager. Then after that was done i was called in again for a group interview where we went over store details and policies.
The whole process was very quick. They asked the easy and standard questions. The whole interview lasted at most 10 minutes. I was in high school when I interviewed and the store was in need of more employees.
You go into the back room, where freight is held, and wait for a manager to speak with you, it depends on the department. It may even be a personnel manager. It's nothing more than sitting in an office room.
