Very simple and straight to the point. Management asks basic get to know you questions but truly wants to know if you are reliable and dependable. They want to ensure you will show up to work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How can I contribute to the overall success of my team?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Las Vegas, NV) in Jun 2012
Interview
The interview was at 12 am and there were multiple people aheahd of me.. anyways I ended up waiting almost 2 hours and it would of been longer but the hiring manage got my papers mixed up and I went before someone else who has been waiting longer then me. I went into the interview room and the first thing the hr asked me is to tell him about myself. I started explaining to him my job experience the kind of personality I had and what kind of worker I was. We went on to talking about more in detail about my work experience, why i quit certain jobs, why i was laid off of certain jobs, my goals, who i am as a person and i had to convince him why i should be hired. There were no situational questions just basic general questions. I still feel it was hard because every person that went in before me didn't get the job, and every one was telling me how intimidating and straight up this guy and will tell you want he thinks about you as a person and if you will be good for the job or not. I guess the dude really liked what i had to say and hired me out of everyone else.
The interview process was straightforward and simple. I have yet to experience on boarding, but will update when completed.
Anxious to see what the starting rate is.
I am supposed to receive an email tomorrow about next steps.
Was quick and easy! Showed up for hiring event and got hired on the spot! And started working like a week later. Been a good company so far. Spoke with Kiera. She is very nice and understanding.
